Boulder, CO Flag

My home for some of the best years of my life, Boulder, Colorado inspired me to make a town flag. The outline of a tree in the forefront is that of a Ponderosa Pine - a common tree in Boulder that marks the transition from the Colorado prairie to the Colorado Front Range. The three lines in the background represent the three main Flatiron rock formations that are the backdrop to Boulder living. The color is symbolic of the winter (and sometimes year round) snow fall, the luscious plant growth, and the rusty red rocks and soil that allow for such greenery.

This flag was recognized by the University of Colorado at Boulder and used for promotional brochures
